About Jeff

What’s up! I’m Jeff Thornton and I want you to know who I am and what shaped me to be where I am today.

I was born on Holloman Air Force Base, NM and raised in the beautiful city of Alamogordo, NM. I am the son of Captain Robert and Dina Thornton. I am the last of 6 kids (3 sisters and 2 brothers). Family and sports have always been a part of my life since the day I was born.

I graduated from Alamogordo High School in 2006 where I played Middle Linebacker for the Tigers. I attended New Mexico Highlands University where I played Strong Safety for the university team and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics.

I’ve always dreamed big, cared very deeply about family, and wanted to make something of myself.

Every person in my family has shaped me in a significant and profound way with the lessons they’ve each taught me. I’ve made it one of my missions in life to give back to them as a thank you for all the lessons they’ve taught me.

I feel to completely understand me it’s very important I breakdown each trait I’ve learned from each member of my family.

Dad

Lessons: Humor, Love, Patience, & Sacrifice

My Dad is my partner in success and my ultimate here. He’s my hero and real-life THOR! Which happens to be the first-ever action figure we purchased together when we started collecting. When I was young my Dad I use to spend the entire day together going on our daily adventures. I’m very thankful for the lessons I’ve learned from him.

Humor:
Laughing has always been a huge lesson that my Dad has taught me. No matter how tough times got he taught me to laugh through it. This lesson has helped me in so many situations in my life. It keeps me grounded and helps me maintain a positive outlook.

Love:
Love is the major core belief in my family. My pops always demonstrated love to me when I always needed it. His love was firm and tough when I got off track, but also very uplifting and kind.

Patience:
I can recall almost every single day he showed me what it meant to be patient. He was constantly running around taking us to school, sporting events, and meetings. This taught me so much about patience.

Sacrifice:
My Dad retired from the Air Force when I was 3 or 4 years old and became a stay at home Dad for the last 3 kids of the family while my Mom at work. His sacrifice to stay home and raise us showed me what it meant to be a care man and sacrifice for the family.

Mom

Lessons: Abundance, Hard Work, Caring, & Kindness

My Mom is such a beautiful woman and has taught me so much about what it is to be a man in this world. She is a Registered Nurse (RN) and cares very deeply for our family and has always been there for all of us. She is the hardest working and most caring person I’ve ever met in my life! She never complains and does everything for the family. I’m so thankful for her!

Abundance:
My entire life I saw my Mom show what it meant to be selfless. She taught me abundance in all areas of my life without even realizing it. I can remember from a young age she would always tithe our church with both money and her time. I didn’t understand it at the time, but I later realized her lessons and love her for being an amazing woman of abundance.

Hard Work:
My Mom is a North Carolina born farm girl who knows a thing or two about hard work. She comes from a strong family and taught me lessons about what it means to work hard through her actions. She worked 18 hour days on her feet as a nurse and has never complained once. I’m so inspired by her heart!

Caring:
When I think of the man I want to be caring is a huge trait that I work on. My Mom is the most caring woman I’ve ever met in my life. She cares so much about her family and us kids that she would do anything for us.

Strength:
When I think of strength I picture my Mom. She is as tough as they come in all areas of her life. She taught me to never complain and to follow my heart no matter how difficult the path may be. Her faith and beliefs in all she does show me what a strong person should look like.

Tiffany-Chiffon

Lessons: Creativity, Intelligence, Insight, & Mission

My sister Tiffany-Chiffon is one of the smartest people I’ve ever met in my life. She’s the one who taught me how to write my first check when I was young. She’s tough as hell too! When she sets her mind to achieving a goal it gets accomplished. We’re very similar in a lot of ways as the bookends of the family and I love her for everything she’s taught me.

Creativity:
Fon’s creativity is out of this world. To watch her create a masterpiece from nothing with her hands always left me in awe as a child. From her fashion, art, interior decorating, and business skill her creativity left a significant and positive mark on me.

Intelligence:
Her intelligence is unmatched! I watched her graduate college in 3 years and that inspired me as a kid to see my sister and a woman in this world take charge and crush it. I’ve seen her do so many incredible things in this world that have helped me in life and business.

Insight:
My sister has always had great insight and shared her thoughts and ideas with me openly. A lot of what I learned in business early on was from Fon. She had a wealth of knowledge, experience, and insight that helped me get the confidence to start a business in my early years.

Mission:
She has always been on a mission to be the absolute best and is a lot like my Mom. I always saw her set huge goals and accomplish them which inspired me to dream big. I loved watching her fulfill her life’s mission and teaching me in the process.

Tres

Lessons: Focus, Tenacity, Leadership, & Confidence

Tres is the toughest dude I’ve ever known! He’s always been a hero of mine alongside my Dad and my other brother Voight. Growing up and watching Tres excel in life and sports was incredibly inspiring. He taught me so much and I still look up to him to this day.

Focus:
When it comes to focus Tres is a master. He has an impeccable ability to lock in with laser focus. I’ve seen him time after time dial-in with hyperfocus and access any situation with exceptional insight.

Tenacity:
His tenacity has taught me so much in life. Whether it be in business, life, or athletics he’s a pitbull that gets what he wants. I love how tenacious Tres is in his approach to creating an amazing family, life, and mindset.

Leadership:
I’ve learned a lot about selfless leadership from Tres. He has a personality where people just gravitate towards him. He’s a fantastic listener and is an empowering leader that treats people thoughts and insight with care. I really admire this quality about him.

Confidence:
When it comes to confidence Tres has it. He’s not arrogant but exudes strength and powerful presence. I’ve learned so much about holding myself in a confident way from our conversations and watching him interact with the world.

Voight

Lessons: Entrepreneurship, Outside the Box Thinking, Loyalty, & Risk Taking

Voight is my dude! He has an incredibly caring, positive, and calm personality that attracts people without him trying. His positive outlook on life has a gravitational pull that brings him so many amazing opportunities and people in life. Not to mention his work ethic is unmatched! I’ve learned so much from him and he’s another major influence that I still look up to.

Entrepreneurship:
Voight is the man who taught me what it is to be an entrepreneur. He started his own DJ company when I was in junior high and he would take me with him to every gig. I quickly learned about running a business from a young age thanks to VT and all his lessons.

Outside the Box Thinking:
Voight is an exceptional marketer and has no shortage of incredible ideas. His ability to create and think outside the box still blows me away. He’s able to convey powerful messages that resonate at a high level.

Loyalty:
One of the main traits I experienced first hand from Voight was his unwavering loyalty to family and friends. Loyalty is the primary trait that I learned to look for in people and VT helped me understand its importance. I’m so thankful for this lesson he taught me and it’s helped me my entire life.

Risk Taking:
Voight is the first man to teach me about taking risks and spending money on yourself. I used to be terrified to spend money on things that would help me or my business as a kid and VT showed me how to overcome that fear. He would take big risks to grow his DJ business and I saw him succeed time after time. It taught me so much about erasing limiting beliefs about money and helped me achieve many goals in my life.

Tiara

Lessons: Volunteer, Outgoing, Adventure, & Networking

Tiara is part one of my twin sisters that I had the pleasure of growing up with. She has such a big heart and cares deeply for people and animals (especially CATS!). She has always been the most outgoing person in the family and seems fearless from the outside looking in. She’s taught me so much about giving my time for others, living life full out, and enjoying the process.

Volunteer:
Tiara has always been one to volunteer her time since we were kids. I don’t know where she learned this, but she taught me so much about how beneficial it is to give back to others with time.

Outgoing:
When it comes to getting out there and making the most out of life Tiara knows how to do it! She always finds the most amazing event to attend that I would never think about going to. It’s really opened me up to what’s out there in the world and helped me look to get outside my comfort zone.

Adventure:
At heart, Tiara has always been an adventurer. As a kid, I watched her research science projects, seek puzzles to solve and find ways to learn about the world through reading. I think her spirit animal is a cat because she is genuinely curious about everything.

Networking:
Through everything, Tiara has done from volunteering and exploring she showed me what it is to meet new people and build a strong network. Without her guidance of putting myself out there, it would’ve taken me a long time to learn the benefits of networking in the world.

Tempest

Lessons: Attention to Detail, Independence, Drive, & Straight Forwardness

Tempest part two of the twins that taught me so much and had the pleasure of growing up with. Temp is the most precise and organized people I’ve known. She has a high level of emotional intelligence and is very deliberate with everything she does. I’ve learned an insane amount of drive, dedication, and independence from Temp.

Attention to Detail:
I take attention to the smallest detail very seriously thanks to the lessons from Tempest. She would spend the entire night writing and rewriting papers for school until everything was perfect! I kid you not she made sure every letter was exactly the same. I really loved to see her dial in and care so much about perfection. It taught me a lot and makes me take a second look at things before I rush it out.

Independence:
Tempest is one of the most independent women I’ve ever known. As kids, while I was running around playing outdoors Tempest would relax at home listening to her music the entire day. She absolutely loved being by herself and living her life to the beat of her own drum. She taught me a lot about spending time with myself and enjoying it.

Drive:
Tempest has an insane drive that I can only describe as obsessed in the most positive way. When she sets her eye on a goal she will demolish it! No matter how big her goals, once it’s set she does everything in her power to make it happen. I really admire this because she rarely focuses on how long something will take, instead, she enjoys the process and chips away at it systematically.

Straight Forwardness:
Tempest is the nicest person I’ve met and at the same time, she is extremely straight forward! I’m glad she taught me this as a kid because I would beat around the bush. Temp instead gives you an answer instantly and says what she feels. She taught me a lot about being straight forward and not wasting my time or others.

Why I love what I do

My family is why I do what I do and love what I do. Without every one of them, I wouldn’t be sitting here now. They made my life path easy by chopping down trees and paving the way to make it easier for me. To show my gratitude and appreciation for them I am committed to doing EVERYTHING in my power to make sure their love, knowledge, and sacrifice didn’t go unnoticed.

In turn, my vision is to pave the way for the next generation of Thornton’s and show them they have the power to have the life they desire doing what they love.
